Stroke Lessons for both Adults and Children looking for better technique

Not everybody who comes to AMES UK Sport Club needs to be taught how to swim.

Often people approach us because they feel that they need to improve their stroke efficiency and some because they have flaws in their style and technique which may be contravening the ASA Competition Laws.

These consultations are ideal for athletes who already have a reasonable or good level of swimming ability and fitness but who would like to be independently assessed and have any irregularities identified and corrected.

These clinics can be run on a one-2-one basis or in small groups.

Athletes from multidisciplinary sports such as Triathlon find this service very useful as they tend to be highly self motivated, often train without the constant supervision of a coach for each discipline and can use this offering as an “add on” to their regular training program.

We are pleased to announce that we are able to offer this service during various times on several days of the week.

Your session times can be very flexible and need not be on a regular weekly basis. The frequency and length of the sessions will be set according to your personal needs and charged on a “Pay As You Go” basis with a 24hr cancellation restriction.

For the higher ability athlete we can introduced you to the advantages of working with a Sport Psychologist if your aspirations in your sport really are top flight. (Most top flight athletes have access to a Sport Psychologist – see the Sport Psychology pages in our web site for an overview of what this can deliver.)
